CrossThread is a Kansas City/Independence local band playing Country, Rock and Blues with a strong emphasis in Outlaw Country. George Jones, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Brooks & Dunn, Cross Canadian Ragweed, CCR, ZZTop, Johnny Cash are just a few of the bands CrossThread Covers. We play the songs you know but strive to play the songs that you haven't heard from every other band.
CrossThreads song list contains modern country songs as well as classic tracks. The classic country songs are played with a new modern country/rock drive giving a new upbeat feel to great classic songs that have stood the test of time.

"CrossThread played our club and the crowd loved em! Joe Selle laid down some awesome rudiments to make anyone’s toes tap and Rick played melodic bass that meshed with him. Troy and Kevin have their own dual guitar serenade happening that sounds like no other and it’s good! Troy’s is still belting out the tunes like the good ole days. Folks if you’re on the fence of hiring this band you better jump they are an A class act. Rick manages to bring their professionalism to a level every club owner would love top it off their fun antics on stage and patron interaction makes them the complete package. I bet they will grace a lot big Fairs across Missouri and open for Headliners and soon to be one so get them now while you still can afford them great jobs guys can’t wait to see you all in 2011."
